Surely by now you’ve seen the online debate: what was worse? President Obama expressing his disapproval of the Citizens United decision or Justice Alito breaking the usual silence of the Court to seemingly say, “Not true,” about the President’s accusations (video below).
But the more interesting question for lawyers might be: who was right?
